I have thought, many times, about Jesus' birth circumstances. I'm completely convinced that He was born to a poor family, born in a stable, manger, etc. because He wants the world to know: He is GOD, He does not need riches-He created all things! His lowly esteemed birth proves that He needs nothing, and all that we value in this life are truly valueless things. He could have been born wherever/however He wanted...He chose a lowly situation to show us how meaningless the material things of life truly are! We needed a Savior, and HE came to earth, lived in the flesh, and suffered at the hands of mankind, to show how very much GOD loves us,and that HE would die for us.
