Your bringing together a Jew and an Arab who both have humbly accepted the Lord reminded me of Jn 10:16. Since both are now under one Shepherd, they are at peace and have love for one another. From what I learned, since the Old Testament times, I understand the Almighty God wanted all the Gentile nations to believe that the God of Israel is the one true God. He had chosen Israel as part of His great plan of salvation. Now in the New Testament, God wants all people, first the Jews, then the Gentiles, to believe in His Son Jesus. Now I understand why the Lord wants His followers or His church to spread the Gospel to all mankind, which in a way is saying, salvation is from the Jews (Jn 4:22) As in your wonderful illustration - Avner, the Jew, first received the Lord, then Nizar, the Gentile followed. This showed it all how peace was achieved between Avner and Nizar. If all people will also do the same (that is, what Nizar did, representing the Gentiles, following after what Avner did first; now we see that both is now believing in the God of Israel and His only begotten Son, and the Gospel, which is exactly what God desired in the first place, in His great plan of salvation. Thank you very much for a very enlightening presentation.
